The Building Inspector operates under the direction of the City Administrator and Board of Aldermen, in conjunction with the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Planning and Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission is typically comprised of 5 to 7 citizens that reside within the City.� The primary function of the P & Z Commission is to help guide the planning of the City and make recommendations to the Board of Aldermen.
